PHOTOS: Firefighters Make 'Quick Stop' on Amagansett Fire

At least four units at the Sea Crest resort were damaged, but several others spared.

"Our guys made an excellent attack, fairly quickly," said Amagansett Fire Department Chief PJ Cantwell after the fire at Sea Crest resort complex on Wednesday morning.

The blaze did cause extensive damage to two first floor and two second floor units in the Saint-Tropez building in the complex. A few neighboring units have water and smoke damage.

East Hampton Town Fire Marshal's are investigating the cause.
