PHOTOS: Firefighters Douse Brush Fire

The East Hampton Fire Department was called out to a brush fire alongside the north side of the railroad tracks, behind 146 Accabonac Rd. Firefighters responded with their brush truck, tanker, and engines to extinguish the fire, which had spread only to several dozen yards. There was an elevated threat of a brush fire on Wednesday across Long Island due to dry air and low humidities.
