PHOTOS: Firefighters Attack Amagansett Blaze
Four fire departments took part in dousing flames at a house fire on Sunday.
The following photos were released Tuesday morning of the fire at 163 Old Stone Highway in Amagansett on Sunday.
On Sunday afternoon, firefighters from four departments battled a blaze at 163 Old Stone Highway in Amagansett. Flames were already through the attic when firefighters arrived, but they rescued an 11-year-old Golden Retriever named Cooper, the only occupant at the house at the time.
Cooper's owners told Patch on Tuesday that they were grateful for the firefighters' quick response and for saving their beloved dog, despite losing many of their possessions in the fire.
