PHOTOS: Spaghetti Dinner Benefits Scoville Hall

The first successful fundraising event went to benefit the Amagansett Presbyterian Church's restoration project.

Members of the Star of the East Masonic Lodge, local fire departments and the community turned out at the Amagansett Fire House on Saturday evening for a fundraiser to support the rebuilding of Scoville Hall, . Lodge Master Tim Walters was "overwhelmed by the response from the community."

The Star of the East Masonic Lodge organized the first fundraiser to restore the hall that dated back to the 1920s. Scoville Hall was being used as a community center for a variety of purposes including Sunday school classrooms, the pastor’s office, and the .

The spaghetti dinner consisted of salad with a variety of toppings, spaghetti, meatballs, beverages and dessert. All funds raised by the ticket sales and raffle went toward the Amagansett Presbyterian Church.

Despite the huge turnout, there was plenty of food for all.
