East Hampton's Bravest Will Honor Those Lost on 9/11

The public is invited to the service on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The fire departments, EMS agencies and police departments that serve the Town of East Hampton will gather at the foot of the Hook Mill on Wednesday to commemorate the 12th anniversary of 9/11.

The service begins at 6 p.m., and the public is invited to attend. 

They will salute the fallen during a short service. East Hampton Village Mayor Paul F. Rickenbach Jr. and East Hampton Town Supervisor Bill Wilkinson will speak. The ceremony is organized by the East Hampton Town Chiefs' Association.

If it rains, the service will be held at the East Hampton Fire Department on Cedar Street.
