Crimes Nearby: J-Lo's Stalker Found Squatting at Water Mill Place, Cops Say
Also: Police looking for help to find a man who went on a shopping spree in Riverhead.
The following information was supplied by the East End and Suffolk County police departments. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.
• A man whom police said is stalking actress-singer Jennifer Lopez was arrested at her Water Mill house earlier this month.

Southampton Town police said workers at the house called police after a suspicious man was found on Lopez's property on Aug. 8.
John M. Dubis, a 49-year-old who lives on Rhode Island, was reportedly living in the pool house for a week. Lopez, the mother to twins with singer Marc Anthony, was not present at the time.

According to police, she already had an Order of Protection against him.
• On Aug. 15, police charged Patrick J. Nichols, 19, of Lantana, Fla. with burglary in the second-degree, a felony, and two counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor. Police said they responded to a burglar alarm at a residence on Bowden Square at 2:33 a.m., and found Nichols in the kitchen of the residence. Police said the man allegedly broke out a kitchen window with a wooden table to gain access.
• Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and identity theft detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for using a victim’s debit card to go shopping in Riverhead.
Police said a man went into a Target, located at 1150 Old Country Road, a Walgreen’s, located on 1196 Old Country Road and a Kmart, located at 605 Old Country Road, and made several purchases using a victim’s debit card information on April 24.
