Detectives are investigating a robbery at Springs Wines & Liquor early Saturday evening, East Hampton Town Police Chief Ed Ecker confirmed.
The robbery was reported at the store, which is located at 839 Springs Fireplace Road on the corner of Fort Pond Boulevard, at about 5 p.m.
Canine units were called in and were searching the area.
"It's still early in the investigation," Ecker said on Saturday night.
