Cops Locate Wandering Teen in County Park

A 13 year old boy was reported missing from Cedar Point on Friday morning.

After a short search, police have located a 13 year old whose mother reported him missing in in Northwest Woods on Friday morning.

According to chatter on the police frequency, officers started looking for a boy about 5'4" wearing blue swim trunks and a button down shirt, around 10:45 a.m.

Chief Ed Ecker confirmed a teen has been reported missing, but no further details were immediately available.

Officers requested help from the county park police, but a half-hour later, the boy's mother called police from the Cedar Point Park General Store, where the boy turned up.
