East Hampton Town police said they had to arrest a bystander who interfered in a drunken driving investigation in Montauk on Friday night.

Christine M. Dalbora, a 27 year old from Montauk, was arrested on a felony driving while intoxicated charge due a prior convicition after she drove her 1997 Chevrolet pick-up truck into a  tree on Navy Road at about 5:35 p.m.

As members of the began to cordon off the accident scene and stabalized the truck, Logie allegedly tried to get back to Dalbora. Police said she pushed a police officer in the chest with both hands when he tried to keep her away.

Logie was arrested on charges of second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor, and second-degree harassment, a violation. She was released on $250 station-house bail and will be arraigned on Thursday.

The Montauk Ambulance Company treated Dalbora at the scene and transported her to , where she reportedly consented to a blood alcohol test.
