Cops: Body Found In Montauk Dunes Friday
The identity of the individual has not yet been released, police said.
Police are investigating a body found Friday in the dunes along Old Montauk Highway near Cleveland Drive in Montauk.
According to East Hampton Town Police, on Friday at 11:47 a.m., management from a nearby motel called authorities requesting them to check on the well-being of a guest.
Officers searching the immediate area located a deceased individual in the dunes, police said.
Police said at this time, the death is not believed to be suspicious.
