The blind leading the blind!!!

I am dumbfounded with the consistent ability of local government to apparently remain completely unaware of obviously transpiring abuses to the local community from outside powers.  I can see how the public might have been caught off guard by the coming installation of our already installed monstrous and potentially dangerous high voltage electric poles.  I am always surprised that over and over again we are trapped by the fact that the action and physical presence is already in place.  It is beyond my comprehension that the process of protecting the community did no begin before the first pole went up.  It does not seem possible that our local officials did not know of this and give the public a heads up so that they might mass protest to the appropriate powers.  I hate to say this but I am truly afraid that this is a situation that will not abate and will come to a fulfilled project on the part of our power providers.  We can all pray that this sad intrusion is stopped and common sense will out.  These are a tragedy waiting to happen.  We can also pray we never see another Superstorm Sandy.      M.Northwest
