From CNN: "Taiji dolphin killing and capture is about cruelty—not tradition. Author Carl Safina, founder of Blue Ocean Institute, has written a NEW opinion piece on Japan's dolphin slaughter.

A "new" method is being used to kill dolphins in the controversial hunt that's not only unnecessarily cruel, but very inefficient.  

"It would be illegal to kill cows with this much pain and agony even under Japan's own laws," says Safina."
