Heroin and Suffolk County Cop raises

So, let me understand this, Heroin is on the rise here on Long Island and the Suffolk County detectives will soon be pulling in $227K (including all benefits). So, these incompetents cannot control the rise of heroin, with cartels employ mill workers, delivery people, enforcers and street crews (words right of Newsday) People interviewed by the paper know this, Newsday knows this - and Suffolk County detectives??? These guys out here a joke, it's like "Car 54, where are you?" Trust me I am not anti-cop, I come from a family of law enforcement, cops, corrections, US Marshalls. I am just appalled that the mickey mouse police out here are making this salary and there is no crime, to speak of, that they are able to control. The gangs are controlling towns, and the drug trade. Everyone knows this, damn even Newsday has figured it out and the Suffolk County Police act clueless. My taxes are going up to pay these exorbitant salaries, and we are getting nothing for it. Please do not respond that the next time I need a cop, blah, blah, blah. I have called the cops, once they pulled up as a punk was breaking into my car, and what did the cops do (BTW, they kept calling for more cars until a total of SEVEN sector cars were here) they did NOTHING - because they didn't actually see the crime. Yet this punk was standing at my drivers side window trying to get the door open, his car was found to have numerous GPS's, cell phones, cameras, laptops and various other electronics and they said they didn't see it happening so could not make an arrest. What a joke these "cops" are.
