Voices for Nature Through Video

Nature is subject of upcoming film festival this weekend.

The relies on powerful and emotional visual imagery and video to inspire and tell the stories of nature. This year, we are proud to participate in the second annual at the in Sag Harbor. This event is bringing world class films and filmmakers here to tell the tales of nature through video.

Nature Conservancy films will be represented at the festival, including three short videos about our work on Long Island and how we are connecting people with nature. Also showing is our 30-minute feature film, "Home for Hawksbill," a moving and beautifully photographed tale about three rival tribes from the Solomon Islands who come together to save the Hawksbill turtle from the brink of extinction.

I hope you’ll join us at the festival this weekend to learn more about the natural world both in your own backyard and across the globe.
