HALT PSEGLI’s 6 MILE HIGH-TENSION TRANSMISSION LINE,

JOIN LONG ISLAND BUSINESSES FOR RESPONSIBLE ENERGY, INC. (LIBFRE)TO HELP RIGHT THIS WRONG!

LET THE STOCKHOLDERS OF PSEG PAY THE COSTS NOT THE RATEPAYERS!

WHEN: April 26TH, Saturday, 1 - 4PM
FOR WHOM: People Who Live Along The 6-Mile PSEG Project And All Townspeople
WHERE: Town Hall Board Conference Room New Town Hall 159 Pantigo Rd East Hampton, NY

Long Island Businesses For Responsible Energy, Inc (LIBFRE) will be sponsoring a meeting with our legal counsel, Irving Like and Professor Leon Friedman who will meet with you to tell you what we are planning, and explain what being a plaintiff entails, and answer any questions you may have. As part of LIBFRE’s litigation strategy, we are currently looking for plaintiffs who live within 110’ along the 6 mile route where PSEG has erected their high voltage transmission lines and 61 foot poles, who fear the fact their property or health is directly impacted, either through property devaluation, health, safety, environmental or aesthetic concerns. We are looking for as many plaintiffs as possible. Our lawyers have advised us that they have never in all the years they have litigated, had a plaintiff with standing to sue, to protect his/her rights who suffered any personal consequences from the opposing counsel. If they were to go after anyone, it would be after the lawyers in our case, for legal fees. This is a town issue. We need to unite as a community.

Please contribute what you can to fight this fight.
