While it's been a few months since Patch readers dubbed Amagansett Fire Department advanced emergency medical technician Tom Field East Hampton Patch's Person of the Year for 2012, we thought it would be a nice nod to spring to refeature this inspiring tale of how one person can make such a huge difference in our communities.
