VIDEO: East Hampton 'Fighting' for Lifeguard's Recovery

Doris Quigley's family thanks community for rallying around them.

Hundreds turned out for a benefit for an injured East Hampton teenaged lifeguard on Saturday night, collectively sending their wishes for a speedy recovery. Doris Quigley, the youngest daughter of East Hampton Town Deputy Supervisor Theresa Quigley and her husband Tom Quigley, broke her neck diving into the ocean surf on Aug. 22. She was recently transferred to the Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine for physical therapy.
