Slow Food Josh Levine Farming Internship Presentation

Slow Food East End leaders, members and friends are invited to an event at Sylvester Manor to officially announce the Slow Food East End Josh Levene Internship for 2011.

Location: Sylvester Manor, 80 North Ferry Road, Shelter Island, NY

Thanks to the generosity of the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, Slow Food members and friends, the Internship was funded with money raised at a dinner on March 31st, celebrating the legacy of farmer Josh Levene. Slow Food East End Leaders voted unanimously to establish a farming internship in Josh's name. Sylvester Manor on Shelter Island is the recipient of the Internship for this growing season.

We are pleased that the Internship will support two interns at Sylvester Manor during this summer. We invite you to come meet these enthusiastic young farmers and learn more about Slow Food East End's commitment to supporting farming education here on the East End of Long Island.
