Health Fair for Breast Cancer Awareness
On Friday, October 7th The East Hampton Healthcare Foundation, Southampton Hospital, and South Fork Community Health Initiative will co-sponsor “Pink Friday,” a health fair in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The event will be held at the Most Holy Trinity Church school building (44 Meadow Way, East Hampton, parking available behind Church).

Educational information on early detection and prevention will be available and attendees may make appointments for no-cost mammogram and pap tests. Other highlights will include free glucose, total cholesterol, blood pressure, HIV screenings, Reiki, and Retreat information services. Attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with a health insurance representative and to sign up for HEAP and Project Warmth, home heating assistance programs, and food stamps. Healthy refreshments will be served.

Those unable to attend are encouraged to schedule a no-cost mammogram by calling the South Fork Community Health Initiative office at the Healthcare Center at 329-2425. The entire community is invited to this event and encouraged to wear pink to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness.
