Don't Forget: Help the Boston Bombing Victims With Amagansett Ride

Wear your Celetics, Bruins, Patriots, or Red Sox sports gear at B. East's benefit for the bombing victims.

Get your Sunday workout in, and give what you can to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings and their families.

B. East Fitness Studio in Amagansett is holding a benefit ride on Sunday morning to raise money for the one fund established to help the families devastated by the bombings last week.

But this is no regular spin class: Riders have to come out donning Boston sports team gear. Put on your old Boston Celtics jersey or grab a friend's Red Sox baseball cap, to show your support for the victims and their loved one. If you are a true New York sports fan and just can't bring yourself to wear any Boston team gear, how about a green shirt?

Romaine Gordon, the owner of B. East and Hamptons Water Company, is a Massachusetts native, growing up in Nantucket, and is just trying to get her adopted home town to come together in the wake of the tragedy. "I don't feel like it is enough, in tragic situations like this, you can never do enough but it is something," she said.

The ride starts at 9:30 a.m. You can reserve your bike online.

A $25 minimum donation is requested. Riders can book their spot online or at the studio. Those who want to make a donation can also do so directly at http://onefundboston.org.
