Finally a Stand Up Paddle Board Pro, Comes to Long Island

Paddle Diva has a course on June 9 with Stand Up Paddle Board Professional Heather Baus, who is a world champ and also super fun and accessible and easy to learn from.

It takes a lot to get someone from the West Coast or down south to come to the North East to impart their experience Surfing and Stand Up Paddle Boarding. And whey they do it is hard to get any face time with them...I'd give my eye tooth to talk to Laird Hamilton and my only interaction with his last visit was reading about it in the paper!

Paddle Diva is dedicated making stand up paddle boarding, not only safe on the East End and 100% accessible to all who want to try, participate and excel in the sport. Paddle Diva will be offering as many opportunities for our clients to do just that!

This Saturday at our brand new headquarters, at the in East Hampton, we have Heather Baus from Puerto Rico who has been competing around the world since 2009 with her most recent victory in the 2012 Carolina Cup. She has completed the Molokai to Oahu 36 mile open ocean race and plans on repeating her success in that competition this summer, she's a mom, pilot, surfer, kite boarder, but most of all she's smart and has infectious energy that will not only get your Paddling stroke to improve, she will improve your overall out look on life!

At 10-11:30 on Saturday June 9th, Heather Baus will be conducting a clinic covering, how to paddle efficiently in all conditions, training, paddle stroke and race strategy. Heather’s lists of athletic achievements are impressive and her personality is infectious. This is a must attend for all SUP enthusiasts both men and women. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet, paddle and learn from one of the best female SUP racers in the world.

This course is $150 and includes all the gear you need and lots of fun race board testing!
