The Jewish Center of the Hamptons presents Guest Speaker Irvin Ungar

Topic: “Soldier in Art: Arthur Szyk”
Irvin Ungar recently completed the documentary “Soldier in Art: Arthur Szyk”. It will be showing for a week-long run in Los Angeles, May 30-June 5, 2014. This highly exciting short film will be screened at the Laemmle Royal Theatre in West L.A. It has already been featured at six film festivals throughout the U.S. and abroad during the past two months. The Laemmle screening qualifies the film to be considered for an Academy Nomination Award for Best Short Documentary of 2014. It will be shown with director David Gaynes' feature film “Next Year in Jerusalem.”
