Service for Doris Elizabeth Schwehr

Doris Schwehr's obituary was written incorrectly in the East Hampton Star, my family and I wanted to allow our friends and community a chance pay their respects. She passed away Sunday around 10:30 am. She passed at the Hampton Care Center where she had resided for the past few years. She survived by her son Leonard W. Schwehr and her granddaughters and grandsons Kristina Schwehr, Alexa Schwehr, Kendall Bahns, Jerry Strain, Dawn Strain, Rachel Strain and Logan Strain. Doris was a very simple woman, she loved to knit, she loved all animals including her dogs, and gardening. Doris moved out here in the 50's with her late husband William W. Schwehr. She formally resided at her home on Kirk Avenue. If anyone would like to pay their respects to Mrs. Schwehr a mass will be held tomorrow Friday, November 8th at 10am. The location will be at the Montauk Community Center.
