Seal Hike in Montauk

Experience seals in their natural environment!  Join a State Parks naturalist on a beach/forest hike to a local haul-out spot for migrating seals.  Along the way uncover many facts about the visiting pinnipeds and enjoy gorgeous views of the sound.  A spotting scope will be set up for viewing resting seals.  Binoculars are recommended.

Hikers meet at the Montauk Point Concession building.  Please try to arrive a few minutes before the start time.  Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and comfortable shoes for hiking.  We will be outdoors for approximately 2-3 hours on a 3 mile hike.

Due to the popularity of this hike there is limited space and RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.  Call 631-668-5000 to reserve your spot.  Accomodations can  be made for groups larger than 15 wishing to go on this hike.

$4-adults, $3-children (3-17), Under 3 is FREE
