Neo-Political Cowgirls and Guild Hall present "Be a Cowgirl for a Day" A Women’s Dance/Choreography Workshop

Participants begin with journaling, leading into improvisational movement exercises and games. Out of this process, personalized dance theater pieces are created, designed and directed by each participant concluding with a short presentation to invited audience (family, friends, etc.).  This process is deeply personal yet private and safe for exploration within a group. Individuals share to whatever extent they desire while telling their stories through dance, gesture, movement and text put to music. Each participant directs others for their piece. This workshop is focused on women’s concerns, freeing of their expression through movement and digging deeply into their own voices and desires for their own lives – like popping a cork for creativity to flow.

$40 per student
