LongHouse to Host a Special Evening of Art & Music
LongHouse Reserve, a not-for-profit
art museum, sculpture garden, and art education organization, will host a
spectacular evening of late summer artistic treats and treasures on its
sprawling East Hampton property. The extravaganza will celebrate
the opening of two much-anticipated 2013 exhibits:
internationally acclaimed Chinese contemporary artist and dissident Ai Weiwei’s Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads:
Gold and top emerging Cuban sculptor Yoan Capote’s RERUM ALTER NATURA.
The Reserve will
kick off these two noteworthy exhibits with an enchanting garden concert by the
famously inventive Voxare Quartet.
As part of the evening’s festivities, Yoan Capote himself will make a special
appearance to present his new works. LongHouse Founder Jack Lenor Larsen will also be in
attendance.
