The East End of Long Island is a unique spot that has attracted many diversely talented people such as artists, writers, musicians, actors, and directors over the years. They search for and find solace in the natural beauty of the landscape, the magnificent light and the endless beaches. This exhibition features 27 works of art by 20th century artists from Guild Hall Museum’s Permanent Collection. Each artist has chosen a different perspective on the landscape both real and imaginary.
