Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival

Sixth annual Hamptons Take 2 Documentary Film Festival, founded/directed by Jacqui Lofaro, showcases 22 films December 6-8, "all docs, all day" at Bay St. Theatre in Sag Harbor, with Q&As after every film, and Audience Award.
Saturday, December 7 film segments are:
10 a.m. "Beautiful Tree, Severed Roots" (70 min), directed by Kenny Mann of Sag Harbor, on her parents' extraordinary life in Kenya and beyond.
11:45 a.m. "Young Voices Program" of 6 films, "Living with Tourette Syndrome," "Ross Goes West," and four Downtown Community Television shorts.
1:15 p.m. "Mr. Conservative: Goldwater on Goldwater" (90 min), narrated by Goldwater's granddaughter, directed by Julie Anderson.
3:15 p.m. "All Me: Life and Times of Winfred Rembert" (74 min), directed by Vivian Ducat, chronicling the life of African American artist Winfred Rembert.
5 p.m. "Treasures from the Rubble" (63 min), directed by Alexandra Branyon of Amagansett, on story of unconventional artist Lois Wilson.
7 p.m. HT2FF Gala honoring filmmaking team of D A Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus of Sag Harbor, with wine and light fare reception, 8 p.m. screening of "The War Room" (96 min) on Clinton campaign, then Q&A with the directors, led by Susan Lacy.
Tickets $15 each segment; $13 seniors (not available online); $30 December 7 Gala; $100 All-Festival Pass.
