Guild Hall Academy of the Arts Lifetime Achievement Awards

The 29th Annual Guild Hall Academy of the Arts Lifetime Achievement Awards will take place Monday, March 10, 2014 at Sotheby’s in NYC. Barbara Walters will receive the Literary-Media Arts Award presented by Alan Alda. Blythe Danner will receive the Performing Arts Award presented by Bob Balaban. Philippe de Montebello will receive the Visual Arts Award presented by Ann Tenenbaum. Jo Carole and Ronald S. Lauder will receive the Special Award for Leadership and Philanthropic Endeavors presented by Michael Lynne. Alec Baldwin is Master of Ceremonies. The Academy honors both summer and year-round East End residents who have demonstrated excellence in the visual, literary, and performing arts. Funds raised from the Award’s gala dinner benefit Guild Hall’s mission of celebrating the artistic spirit on the East End by educating, inspiring, and enriching diverse audiences with excellent and engaging year-round programming.
