Garden Club of East Hampton Flower Show

The Garden Club of East Hampton is
exceptionally pleased to announce that in this year, 2014, as we mark our 100-year Anniversary of helping to keep East Hampton beautiful, we will be hosting a Garden Club of America Flower Show. The show is called "It's About Time," and it will be one of a number of events held under the
umbrella theme of our Centennial:  "Mrs. Woodhouse
Presents......", named in honor of our founding president, Mrs. Lorenzo E.
Woodhouse.

The show will be open to the public
on Thursday, July 24th from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Mulford Farm, 10 James
Lane, East Hampton.   "It's About Time" will feature Floral
Design, Horticulture, Photography, and Botanical Arts submitted by members of
The Garden Club of East Hampton and other GCA clubs, as well as a Conservation
and Education Exhibit. This exhibit entitled "Trees through Time"
looks at the last 100 years of East Hampton trees, with suggestions for your
own sustainable planting. Admission is free.

The Garden Club of East Hampton,
founded in 1914, has as its mission “to restore, improve and protect the
quality of the environment through educational programs and civic
improvements.”
