Free Educational Forum: "Rethink Aging"

The East Hampton Healthcare Foundation will sponsor a free educational forum, titled "Rethink Aging It's Never To Late to Take Care of Yourself."

The forum will focus on a proactive approach to health and
wellness issues for seniors on the east end, providing valuable educational
information for individuals, caregivers, families and healthcare
professionals. 


The
forum’s Keynote Speaker, Eileen H. Callahan, MD, is an Associate Professor in
the Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development at Mount Sinai School of
Medicine. Dr. Callahan will be joined by a panel of physicians, including Gerontologist Charles Guida, MD; Rheumatologist
Elaine Karis, MD; Ophthalmologist
Louis D. Pizzarello, MD; and Gerard M. Turino, MD, Pulmonologist and President,
East Hampton Healthcare Foundation.


Other speakers will include Patia Cunningham, E-RYT, Ann M. Silver, RD,

Erik Peterson, PT, who will discuss the practice of yoga, nutrition and

physical therapy, respectively. The program will conclude with a talk by Howard
John Lebwith, DDS (retired), who will speak about “The Life Well Lived.”

A free coffee and light breakfast buffet will precede the program
from 8:30 – 9:00 am.  The program will
begin promptly at 9:00 am.  Local resource

information for seniors will also be available following the program.
