Ring in the New Year at The Living Room
The Living Room Restaurant at c/o The Maidstone will celebrate New Year’s Eve Monday, December 31st with an early evening a la carte dinner from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and a $125 four-course prix fixe dinner beginning at 9 p.m. The menu for the second seating, which includes a glass of champagne, is as follows:
First course

Seared Hudson Valley foie gras with Vidalia onion marmalade, apple balsamic and toasted brioche
Lobster bisque with crème fraiche and lobster
Wild mushrooms with a brandy cream on tasted brioche
Peconic Bay scallops with kabocha squash puree and chive beurre blanc
Third course

Smoked beef short rib, apple salad, Vasterbotten potato purée and peppery cranberry red wine sauce
Venison loin grilled with braised red cabbage, candied sweet potatoes and port wine sauce
Muscovy duck breast with parsnip purée, brussel sprout leaves and lingonberry demi-glaze
Monkfish with a lemon glaze, roast baby root vegetables and tournad potatoes
Roasted rack of lamb with a basil infused crust, ratatouille and potato pureé
Local halibut with confit fingerling potatoes, pickled carrot pureé and dill mustard béarnaise
Swedish bouillabaisse with mussels, shrimp, squid, halibut in saffron tomato broth
