Judith Leiber - An American Journey : From Artisan to Fashion Icon

The Leiber Collection invites you to visit 'Judith Leiber - An American Journey : From Artisan to Fashion Icon', a retrospective exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of Judith Leiber Handbags in 1963.  On display are over 500 examples of Judith Leiber's creations from the early 1960's through 2004.  This exhibition celebrates the extraordinary achievements of Judith Leiber throughout the years, showcasing her creative genius and unique vision and skill.  The outstanding artistry of her works is sure to amaze.


The Leiber Collection, a magnificent Renaissance styled Palladian edifice, sits majestically in a sublime sculpture garden that borders six additional gardens, each designed by Modernist Painter and Printmaker, Gerson Leiber, in a style befitting the local geography.


Located at 446 Old Stone Highway in the East Hampton hamlet of Springs.

The exhibition opens Saturday May 25th with a reception and garden party from 2-5pm.

The Collection is free and open to the public from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 4 or at other times by appointment.  Please call 631-329-3288 or email info@leibercollection.org to make an appointment.
