Helen Mendes, an experienced English language teacher who taught the highly successful ESL program at LIU-Southampton College, will be offering an intermediate-advanced English class at East Hampton High School as part of the Continuing Education program.
The class will focus on improved comprehension and fluency for speaking, reading, and writing skills. Class size is limited to 15, runs for 11 sessions, and the cost, including text and materials, is $170. Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays starting Nov. 5 and ending Dec. 19, with some blackout dates, from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. at East Hampton High School.
