Gallery Talk with Guest Curator Doug Kuntz on Fritz Leddy, Part II

Guest Curator Doug Kuntz will discuss this exhibition of never-before-seen works of Fritz Leddy, the Chief of the East Hampton Police Department from 1937 to 1968. Over a span of ten years surrounding World War II, Leddy took over 2000 photographs around the village of East Hampton. In 1999, twelve years after his death, boxes of his negatives were found in the basement of the Police Station and were developed for a 2006 exhibition at Guild Hall of which only a fraction of this work could be shown. On view Saturday October 27 – Sunday January 6, 2013. Museum Hours: Friday & Saturday 11am-5pm; Sunday 12-5pm.
