DEMOCRATS TO CELEBRATE AT ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY

Following
an annual tradition, East Hampton Democrats will celebrate the holidays this Friday,
December 13, 6-8 p.m. in a gala party at The Palm to which they welcome all in
the community. Hors d’ouevres at this happy event are lavish, speeches are few
but there’s always at least one surprise as Dems announce the Democrat of the
Year.

This

year the Democrats have a winning election to celebrate. The brief program  will honor newly elected Supervisor, Larry

Cantwell, Town Councilwoman, Katheee Burke Gonzlez, Justice Steven Tekulsky and

Town Clerk Carole Brennan as well as re-elected Assessor, Eugene DePasquale, Highway

Superintendent Steven Lynch, and incumbent Democratic Trustees Steve Lester and

Deborah Klughers, as well as  two new Democratic Trustees, Bill Taylor and Brian Byrnes.

The

Democrats will give special recognition to retiring Justice Catherine Cahill

for  20 years of distinguished service on

the Town Justice Court.

All are

welcome. The price at the door will be $40. Thursday will be the deadline for

reserving a space at $30 by going to Donate at the  Democrats website, www.ehdems.com.
