Classic Boat Fair & Maritime Art Show

The East End Classic Boat Society will hold it’s annual Classic Boat Fair and Maritime Art Show Saturday, July 13th rain or shine at it’s Community Boat Shop on Bluff Road in Amagansett. There will be classic wood boats on display and demonstrations of boat building and restoration. The Maritime Art Show will feature paintings and photography from East End artists. There is no admission charge to the event and the Community Boat Shop is handicap accessible.

Tickets will be on sale for this year’s raffle boat, a Goeller dinghy, which is being constructed by volunteer members of The East End Classic Boat Society. The boat is capable of being propelled by a sail, oars and an outboard motor. The raffle for the boat includes a sail, oars and a new galvanized Load Rite trailer. There will also be boats for sale.

The Maritime Art Show will have paintings and photography. Paintings will include oils, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, mixed media and pen & ink.

The neighboring East Hampton Town Marine Museum will be open Saturday with no admission charge. The museum is also open on Sundays.
