Begin at "The End"
Join a State Park naturalist on this scavenger hunt-like hike through Camp Hero State Park, located at "The End" of Long Island. Participants will discover local plants and animals while hiking the trails. View the buildings in the Downtown area while listening to the history of how Camp Hero came to be.
Hikers will at the Camp Hero Bluff parking lot (NOT the Radar Tower lot). Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and comfortable shoes for hiking. To make a reservation please call 631-668-5000.
