Artist Billy Rayner Talk & Book Signing

Artist Billy Rayner will read from his two-volume set Notes and Sketches: Travel Journals of William P. Rayner and sign books in the Boots Lamb Education Center. Reception to follow in garden. Notes and Sketches: Travel Journals of William P. Rayner is a collection of musings, paintings, and memorabilia exploring over three decades of travel in Africa and India. Rayner was editorial business manager at Condé Nast Publications and wrote articles for Vogue, House and Garden, and Vanity Fair, as well as for other international publications. He traveled extensively for both professional and personal reasons, perfecting his watercolor painting while on his many trips. His work has been heavily exhibited, including appearances in the summer show at the Royal Academy.
