Cate Rogers for Town Trustee
As a Long Island native, I was raised on the Great South Bay by a boating family who made the journey to Sag Harbor every summer. It was during these childhood years that my love for our east end waters began. I moved to East Hampton in 2002 and immediately became active in our community.
In 2004, I was appointed to the East Hampton Zoning Board of Appeals, where I served for six years, four as Vice Chairman. During my tenure, I became well acquainted with the issues affecting our treasured coastal areas.
Now residing in Springs, I am proud to be an active member of the Accabonac Protection Committee and was the 2013 Site Coordinator for Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Horseshoe Crab Study for Accabonac Harbor. I am an avid paddle boarder paddling miles a week along our coastline year round.

When I’m out there, the view of our world is magical. This intimate knowledge and perspective of our shores has made me a passionate advocate wanting to preserve this experience for all those to follow.
As a Trustee, I will be dedicated to sustaining the vitality, beauty and enjoyment of our cherished beaches, waterways and common lands for our community, now and in the future.
