 An East Hampton real estate agent who fought colon cancer for two years died on Saturday morning. Her three children survive. 

Charlotte Schorr, who retired from the Montauk Library in August, died on Wednesday night from lymphoma.

Police/Fire

 Of the 50 volunteer fire departments called to fight the raging Long Island brush fire in Brookhaven Town, five departments were some of East Hampton's bravest. Amagansett, Springs, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, and Sag Harbor all responded to fight heavy flames and smoke during Manorville and Ridge brush fires.

East Hampton Town police said Quamine T. Taylor has a history of showing up uninvited at Sean Combs' East Hampton house.

 A woman accused of stalking the actor Alec Baldwin in New York City this weekend may have followed him to his home in Amagansett a week earlier.

 Laura M. Nolan was arrested and charged with DWI following an accident with a Corvette in Sag Harbor Village on Friday afternoon.

 A woman with a house in East Hampton has been nabbed for allegedly scamming $79,000 in a rent subsidies from the New York City Housing Authority.
