WATCH: Reader Gets Up Close With Beached Whale
The sperm whale calf died later on Saturday afternoon.
The in front of the Montauk Shores Condominiums on Saturday attracted a large amount of onlookers. One onlooker snapped some video of the female calf as she lay in the shallow water over some rocks. Following her death later that afternoon, the body was on the evening, in front of dozens of concerned beach-goers.
