VIDEO: On the Harbor, Water Rises To Dock

The water came very close to flooding the road at the Head of the Harbor.

Three hours after high-tide on Sunday morning, the water level in Three Mile Harbor was nearing the dock. Chief Harbormaster Ed Michels said the water was about six inches from flooding the road at about 11 a.m. The boat launching ramp at the Head of the Harbor was slightly flooded and some access to floating docks was inaccessible due to the high tide. While the wind was blowing, the water was somewhat calm for Tropical Storm conditions at that point.
