Thursday is Happening on Patch

Starting this Thursday, East Hampton Patch launches a new weekly series of articles dedicated to helping you find the best that our local restaurants and real estate agents have to offer.

In addition to providing you the local news you need to know, we'll feature a weekend planner, a guide to houses and a spotlight on the best, newest and tastiest in East Hampton Town— whatever that might be.

"Get Out" will run at 10 a.m. It's a weekend field guide for those whose weekend nights can't come quick enough.

Looking for a new place to call home? At 12 p.m., spend your lunch hour with "House Hunt," a gallery featuring homes for sale and scheduled for open houses on Saturday and Sunday.

"View Finder" is our new version of our former "In Photos" column featuring professional pics of anything that is beautiful, quirky and fun in East Hampton. It's scheduled to run at 1 p.m. every Thursday

"Patch Picks" — a spotlight on local digs that tie in to current holidays or major events — will run at 3 p.m. This Thursday, we'll let you in on the best hangouts to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday.

"Bites Nearby," scheduled to run at 5 p.m., offers up a suggestion for a place to chill with a nice meal and a drink — much-deserved after a long work week.
