UPDATE: Snowfall Causes More Cancellations and Closures

Amagansett students will be dismissed early and high schoolers get a reprieve from midterms.

With the on the South Fork, some cancellations and closures are starting to roll in.

District Clerk Cheryl Bloecker said at noon that students will be dismissed early at 1:20 p.m.

All afternoon midterms have been canceled at , according to principal Adam Fine.

Superintendent Michael Hartner said, "It appears the roads will be safer at 3:20 than they are now, since the snow is supposed to turn to rain at 2 p.m.  So we’re staying open."

Sag Harbor Schools are also expected to remain open. But, a networking dinner scheduled for this evening at Sen has been canceled due to weather.
