Services Set for Jeffrey Ahn

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday afternoon, funeral is Wednesday in New York City.

Services for Jeffrey Ahn Jr., , will be held Tuesday and Wednesday in New York City.

Ahn, 17, was walking with friends along Old Stone Highway on his way to his family's house in Amagansett when he was hit. A rising senior, he attended the Trinity School in Manhattan.

Visiting hours will be held at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel, at 1076 Madison Ave. and 81st St., on Tuesday between 6 and 9 p.m. A funeral is scheduled for Holy Family Church, at 315 E. 47th St., on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

A burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, on Jackson Avenue and Saw Mill River Road in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, and a luncheon at the clubhouse of St. Andrew's Golf Club, at 10 Old Jackson Ave., Hastings-on-Hudson.

According to a death notice in The New York Times, Ahn "was an enthusiastic painter, scientist, actor, two-time Student Senator, wrestling team manager, and president-elect of the Storytellers Club" at Trinity. His family described him as "compassionate, loyal, fun-loving, and witty."

He was the son of Priscilla Ahn and Dr. Jeffrey Ahn, and the brother of Presca Ahn.
