Professor Sean Tvelia, from Suffolk County Community College, will lead the lecture - titled "" - and focus on some of the following questions: Why have so many civilizations recognized the same constellations? What can we learn about ourselves from them?

An opportunity to use the observatory telescopes will follow the lecture, weather permitting.

Do you follow the stars? Have you learned anything about yourself in them?
