Report: New Film on 'Montauk Project' Out This Summer

"Montauk Chronicles" tells the story of three men who say they witnessed science gone wrong at Camp hero.

A new docu-drama will follow the stories of three men who say they witnessed extraterrestrial activity and were involved in evil scientific experiments at the former Air Force base known as Camp Hero, according to AOL News.

In "The Montauk Chronicles," independent filmmaker Christopher Garetano  follows the story of three men who claim to have actually seen extraterrestrials at eh underground facility.

The film subject has long been legend. The belief that people were kidnapped at the facility, which is now a state park, and subjected to time travel attempts and mind control was long-ago dubbed the "The Montauk Project."

Alfred Bielek, Stewart Swerdlow and Preston Nichols told their stories to Geretano, who shot most of the film at the state park, where the defunct radar tower and bunkers still stands.

It is set to be released in summer 2011.
