Members of the six fire departments in the Town of East Hampton, as well as the police departments, took part in a ceremony honoring those lost on 9/11. On the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on New York City, one hundred miles west of East Hampton, firefighters, police officers, ambulance personnel and local military personnel lined up to salute the fallen.
