"We will be canceling all permits for outdoor activities scheduled for Sunday, such as picnic and pavilion rental permits," Ronald Foley, the New York State Department of Parks and Recreation regional director for Long Island.
According to County Executive Steve Levy's office, campers at county parks, like in the Northwest Woods section of East Hampton and , will be asked to move from the grounds by Friday evening.
